In Class Assignments

Portraits: Due: Monday April 28 (at least ONE! The other two are due by May 12)
You must label each portrait with the following information:
Light: (side, front, rembrandt, rim, fill) (at least 5 of each, 10 also using fill)
Pose: (front, 3/4, profile) (at least 5 of each)
Shot: (wide, medium, tight) (at least 5 of each)

You need to have at least 25 portraits to be turned in for a grade. All of the requiremtents must be met, and you will be graded on content, creativity, technique, and composition.

For the final portrait, you will choose the best one, and create 3 versions of it: b&w, sepia (or another tone), and color. (Be sure to adjust size, levels, and sharpness, and to copy the background layer before doing anything else!)

Panorama: 5 Dig photos Due: Monday April 14
Color Film: Developed and Printed Due: Monday April 28
You may shoot any subject matter, but you need to have 5 photos in class to begin stitching together by Mon Apr 14. Bring in the camera, memory card, flash drive or cd, make sure the pics are at a high resolution!
Put them into your originals folder.

You will also complete a Color Film Panorma. I will supply the film, but you must have the 12 photos shot, developed and printed by Monday April 29. (Take your film to a cvs or motophoto, ask for DOUBLES and a MATTE (not glossy!) finish.

You will be constructed a camera out of a box and using photographic paper to create negatives. You must record all of your exposure times. Then you will make a contact print from your paper negatives.
